Breitbart News recently published that the pope said the Gospels are “imbalanced”, and that “imbalance” is good!:
Christians must embrace the “imbalance” of the gospel rather than trying to put everything in order, Pope Francis said Thursday, which leads to a “dictatorship of functionalism.”

It is an error to try to “fix” things and impose order on the world or the Church, the pope told participants in a diocesan assembly in Rome, adding that it is a “temptation” to think we can “reorganize the city, reorganize the diocese, put everything in order.”

Having everything in order converts the Church into a “museum,” Francis said, which would mean “taming things, taming young people, taming people’s hearts, taming families” and making everything “perfect.”

“We have heard about the imbalances of the city, the imbalance of young people, the elderly, families … The imbalance of relations with children,” the pope said. “Today we have been called to embrace the imbalance.”

“We cannot do anything good or evangelical if we are afraid of imbalance,” he said. “We must grasp the imbalance in our hands: this is what the Lord tells us, because the Gospel — I believe you understand me — is an ‘unbalanced’ doctrine. Take the Beatitudes: they deserve the Nobel Prize for imbalance!”

The apostles did not get this, Francis suggested, because they had fallen into the clericalism of right thinking and a desire for order and balance.

Adventists can’t bring themselves to identify “Islam” as source of Sri Lankan attacks

On Easter, April 21 2019, there were several horrific bombings targeting churches in Sri Lanka. As of this writing, 321 people were murdered.

Who were they murdered by? Of course, it was by Muslim jihadists who believe in their “holy” book, the Qur’an, that commands them to “fight until all is for Allah”.

So what has this got to do with the Seventh-day Adventist Church? Well, just a few weeks ago, and white man who openly stated that Communist China was his inspiration, shot up a mosque in New Zealand, killing 49 people. The world Church was swift in denouncing the attack of terror, and gushed in several articles about how SDA leaders were reaching out to the Muslim community, praying with them, showing them love, helping them, condemning the hatred of the attacker etc. There were at least 4 articles like this in the Adventist Review.

So you would expect a similar or greater response when terror attacks are carried out on fellow Christians, wouldn’t you? Well, as of this date, there are only 2 articles about it, one a short statement from Ted Wilson where he doesn’t even mention the word “Christian”, and an article about the Sri Lankan SDA president who narrowly missed being near a hotel where some bombs went off.

The latter article is especially revolting, not mentioning “Christian” at all either, like Ted Wilson’s statement, but also pointedly refusing to mention Islam or Muslim, stating instead: “While one group has claimed responsibility for the blasts but without evidence to support the claim…” Adventist Review hates word “Islam”

Appeasement, and pretending there isn’t a problem is what led to Hitler’s rise.
Blood is on your hands, SDA Church.

This is awful. Seventh-day Adventist pastors are in the list of denominations that have pastors who signed a document asking Tennessee’s governor to oppose legislation that would make it illegal to kill an innocent, developing human that has a heartbeat.

“A group of some 150 Tennessee faith leaders, many of them Christian, have sent a letter to Governor Bill Lee urging him to oppose heartbeat legislation.
In the letter, the religious leaders declare their opposition to the heartbeat bill as well as “all attempts to criminalize and restrict abortion access.”

Such a law would make legislators into the decision-makers, rather than medical professionals and “pregnant people,” the letter states.

The letter was signed by pastors and other religious leaders and activists, including Christians, Muslims, Jews, Buddhists, Unitarian Universalists, and a pagan priestess. Among the Christians, the Methodist, Presbyterian, Baptist, Lutheran, United Church of Christ, African Methodist Episcopal, Catholic, Episcopal, Brethren, Seventh Day Adventist, Anglican, and Nazarene were represented among the signatories.”

Anyone who still gives tithe to the General Conference, knowing that they support killing Jesus in the person of “the least of these my brethren”, is going to have a lot of explaining to do to Jesus in the judgment.

Amazon has banned “Mohammed’s Koran”, evidently because of pressure by the BBC. This is more Leftist/Progressive regressivism, punishing people for speaking out against Progressive ideas.

Progressives are at their repressively violent best again, with a court in Canada telling a dad that since his daughter wants to identify as a boy, he must not only approve it, he might get fined or go to jail for calling her a girl, or using female pronouns to refer to her.

Supreme Court ruled that the girl (referred to as A.B.) “is exclusively entitled to consent to medical treatment for gender dysphoria and to take any necessary legal proceedings in relation to such medical treatment,” and that “attempting to persuade A.B. to abandon treatment for gender dysphoria; addressing A.B. by his birth name; referring to A.B. as a girl or with female pronouns whether to him directly or to third parties; shall be considered to be family violence under s. 38 of the Family Law Act.”

New research is suggesting that the less animal products in your diet, the more likely you are to be depressed. vegetarian-depression link

The evidence is not conclusive, and the article even states how Seventh-day Adventists didn’t fit that pattern, but the correlation seems to be quite strong to me.

The article also explains what I think is one of the biggest reasons for this – which is that people who think long and hard enough to make huge changes in their lifestyle, often are prone to depression anyway because of how life looks so hopeless. Frankly, if I wasn’t Christian, I would most likely be depressed myself.

This also fits in with inspired counsel that I read today, to not make diet any kind of test for salvation. It’s important, but it’s not what saves us. Only Jesus can save us. 🙂

missing cats already

(What happened to me yesterday)
I came back from church around 4:15, and noticed a car in front of the house, so I knew it was the original owner of the cats coming to pick them up.

I tried to be as quiet as possible, as I didn’t want anything to do with saying goodbye to them, but the house owner came upstairs asking me if I knew where Ume-chan was.

Of course I knew, as she always hides on top of the fridge downstairs when visitors come.
So I went down, got her out, put her in the carry bag they brought, clamped down on the velcro opening that she kept trying to nose open, and watched them put Tora-chan into a bigger carry bag.
He was naturally more docile, and got in with little problem.

Then I took Ume out to the car, put her in the back, they put in Tora, and as Ume could get out by prying open the velcro, I had them shut the doors and roll up the windows, then I let go and hurriedly shut the back door.

We waved goodbye to them, me in tears.

First time I’ve cried about saying goodbye to a pet since my dog Stubborn back when I was around 16 or so and I bawled my eyes out, and couldn’t help my brother take him to the vet to put him down at all.

Sigh.

Tearing up again just typing this.

Hope we have 4-legged friends in heaven, and we can all gather around Jesus.

So nice to see so many people marching for the rights of innocent, developing humans in Washington D.C.

The theme this year is: “Unique from Day One: Pro-Life is Pro-Science.”

The pics of the people show decent, reasonable-looking people, not the half-mad, vulgar, pierced, tattooed rebellious bunch that you usually see at Progressive marches.

But where are the Seventh-day Adventists? Why didn’t NAD or the General Conference come out with a communique announcing their solidarity with this group trying to raise awareness that thousands of baby’s lives are being snuffed out every day, and calling on a stop to it? Why does the GC and NAD have heart to condemn every shooting of 10 or 20 people, yet are totally silent on killing of thousands – EVERY DAY??? Hypocrites.

So who fills the void of God’s remnant church shirking its responsibility of protecting “the least of these my brethren”? Of course – the Roman Catholic Church: Catholics seen as moral leaders

We Adventists are going to be spewed out soon if we don’t repent, and follow Jesus, instead of supporting the killing of him thousands of times over every day.

David Gates has a video explaining his recent “Even at the Doors” video which has created quite a stir among fellow Seventh-day Adventists for its time-setting excitement that the Vatican will attack America in Spring 2019, and that the SDA Church will start persecuting church members in Spring 2019 also. As you might imagine, his main points are forbidden by what God has given us in Ellen White’s writings: “The times and the seasons God has put in his own power, and why has not God given us this knowledge?–Because we would not make a right use of it if he did. A condition of things would result from this knowledge among our people that would greatly retard the work of God in preparing a people to stand in the great day that is to come. We are not to live upon time excitement. We are not to be engrossed with speculations in regard to the times and the seasons which God has not revealed.” 1888 Materials.

10:40 Br. Gates, you are doubling down on your lie about a Sunday Law being hidden in the “Law of the Environment”. God has already told us thru Ellen White that the Sunday Law will come about – because the people will demand their legislators to enact a Sunday Law, thinking to get right with God.

Dr. Ruhling (SDA) says huge earthquake to hit spring 2019, signalling start of end

I just made a post last week on Richard Ruhling’s video last week which had some good truth about the 42 months in the future, but lots of error too, where he predicted that the Abomination of Desolation happened on Sep. 23, 2015, so we should expect something of huge importance to happen in Spring (specifically – the 2nd Passover) of 2019. His video has gone “viral” by SDA standards, getting over 16K views in just 2 weeks. Please understand that I’m reviewing his videos, as I see some truth about interpreting prophetic things for the future, not in the past as is standard SDA practice, and also see truth in the Feast Days, but hate to see him mix error – very bad error of time setting and wild, anti-govt. conspiracy theories, into the truth, thus making a more poisonous mixture. Here is my review:

So we see that his interpretation here too, is false.

11:10 He tries to tie Numbers 9:11 to something important about the 9/11 attacks on America!

13:39 Here is the main point of his video, but it isn’t emphasized – He says to watch and see if Jerusalem is encompassed by armies next spring, then that is our sign to give the message “The Bridegroom comes”.

15:07 “It could be martial law. It could be the end of our freedom” (in talking about what might happen next spring.

15:33-
He goes off into wild conspiracy theories, saying that the Paradise, California fires were deliberately caused by the govt. using lasers.

17:00 He goes into the “Truther” conspiracy theory, saying that airplanes on 9/11 couldn’t have taken down the towers.

17:28 He goes into the conspiracy theory that “dark forces” are wanting to have U.N. troops taking over security in the U.S.

While I disagree very strongly with Pr. Wilson on his support for abortion, and don’t even consider him my brother in Christ over his support for killing Christ in the womb, he is exactly right on this issue. I call on all those trying to paint him in a bad light on the Sunday Law issue for this “in the pipeline” issue to repent, and ask for God to heal your itching ears.

I first heard the name “Richard Ruhling” many years ago, as he was a doctor at Wildwood. Now he has a video response to Mark Finley’s rebuttal of David Gates “Even at the Door” video. Richard Ruhling’s response to Mark Finley’s video on David Gates

Here is my takeaway from his video:

2:43 He says David Gates moved to the jungle and cut off every support from the U.S. Then he comments on how large Br. Gates’ ministry is, saying that God has blessed him.
But just as I reminded Br. Gates when I called on him to repent in 2010 for saying the money in America would fail (it didn’t of course), he came back with how many orphanages and schools he was running, and I told him by that standard, the pope was really blessed of God!

5:20 “(Prophecy) can also be future”. Amen and amen!

6:00 He rightly shows that Mark Finley twisted the order of Revelation 13, trying to make it appear the 42 months occurs BEFORE the deadly wound is healed, when it is actually AFTER.

6:45 Unfortunately he goes into conspiracy nonsense with “New World Order” being written on our money means that those who “handle the money” know where things are going. I’ve studied this out, and that “New World Order” slogan was put there to show that we in America are under God and have a Republic, and not under the old papal monarchy system in Europe.

7:09 “I believe David Gates’ timing is correct too”. No it isn’t. September 23, 2015 was NOT the true Day of Atonement. Plus, this begs the biggest problem with Br. Gates’ sermon – he is getting up a time-excitement, which we are expressly forbidden to do.

7:43 He shows correctly that the Two Witnesses will have a future, final fulfillment.

8:15 He shows he believes that the 7 Trumpets are literal, future events – praise God!

8:35 “Those are early statements by Ellen White”. Here he makes an unfortunate error in trying to justify time-excitement now, by saying God’s commands to not do that were “early statements”.

11:04 He gives a very good explanation showing how we look to the experience of Israel coming out of Egypt to see what we are going to experience at the end time.

11:24 He talks against abortion, which is wonderful, but doesn’t touch on the fact that our SDA Church officially supports abortion.

14:42 “The evidence supports David Gates’ impression that next spring will be huge”. No, Br. Ruhling. You’ve just ruined your entire video by stating here that you are in favor of raising a time-excitement. Please repent.

Pastor Branner also teaches time-setting, contrary to God’s words

Pastor Branner is a SDA pastor referenced by David Gates in his “Even at the Door” sermon. I watched the 2 part series by Pr. Branner, titled “Prophecy Science and the New World Order”.
He says many good things, and I generally am in agreement with what he says. Especially I’m delighted to see he takes the words of God in the Bible to heart – that there will be a literal 3 1/2 year period right before the end.

However, he makes several unfortunate time-setting errors that may turn off some honest seekers for truth. Here were some thots about his part 2 video sermon:
50:10 “The close of probation for God’s people will be within one year”. That’s some time-setting.
52:05 “Wouldn’t God let us know when the judgment of the dead goes to the judgment of the living”? Yes, that will be when the 10 Commandments are brought forth.
1:09:44 He says that the Pope is coming with a Sunday Law, but that’s not according to what Ellen White has written. She writes that after God’s judgments (fireballs etc) people will clamor for a way to get right with God, and the apostate Protestants in America will call for a Sunday Law. The Roman Catholic Church will make sure to do it in Europe and perhaps more, but not in America.

Let’s study to show ourselves approved unto God.

Brazil just elected Bolsonaro, a Pentecostal, as president. It seems incredible that a country 95% Roman Catholic just a few decades ago has turned to over 30% “Evangelical/Pentecostal” now.
