Burma trip March 2006

Spreading 1858 edition of second most important book in the world -
The Great Controversy Between Christ and His Angels, And Satan and His Angels. Burma (Myanmar) is ruled by the military, and has been badly mismanaged for so long, that the country has gone from being the leading rice exporter under British rule, to being a shambles today, not even able to feed itself. Since the govt. doesn't allow foreigners to stay with natives, I had to stay in a hotel, but met some fine SDA believers there, including the Great Controversy translator who treated me like a true Brother. The old buildings were fascinating to me, and the yellow makeup was interesting, but the sadness of seeing greatness gone to waste was palpable everywhere.
