going gluten-free is a “waste” for most people

I’ve been extremely skeptical of the whole “gluten-free” fad that has been so popular for the last few years. Of course some people do experience relief from their bloating or irritable bowel syndrome or whatever by going to gluten-free. However, as I’d long suspected, it isn’t really the gluten in the food that is the problem – it is the other things that normally go along with what the gluten is contained in.

Finally, there is scientific evidence to support my hunch.
Daily Mail article on gluten-free being a waste

Dr Biesiekierski’s colleagues at Monash University in Melbourne, led by respected gastroenterology expert Professor Peter Gibson, were investigating how chemicals called FODMAPs (fermentable oligosaccharides, disaccharides, monosaccharides and polyols) in the diet could trigger symptoms in people with irritable bowel syndrome.

Unlike gluten, which is a protein, FODMAPs are sugary molecules that naturally occur in a range of foods, including fruits, vegetables, grains and dairy. The most widespread are fructans, which are carbohydrates found in wheat, fruits and vegetables.

Other common FODMAPs include lactose (milk sugar) and polyols, including artificial or naturally-occurring sweeteners such as xylitol and sorbitol…..
‘But every single person improved more on the FODMAP-free diet. Then, when we gave them gluten without them knowing, 90 per cent of them had no symptoms of intolerance.’

In other words — it’s not sensitivity to gluten, it’s a reaction to FODMAPs that is causing the problem.

So what are some foods with FODMAP?
Garlic.
Onions.
Beans (for example, red kidney beans, broad beans).
Brassicas (for example, cauliflower, cabbage).
Dried vine fruits (for example, raisins, sultanas).
Some fruits and juices, including apples, pears and mangoes.
Processed meats.
Wheat-based breads, cereals and pasta.
Dairy foods (for example, cow’s milk and related products such as cream or cheese).
Sweeteners such as xylitol, sorbitol and honey.

Let’s be careful about going after any new fad, and treat this marvelous body God has given us the best we can.

Artificial Intelligence helping “livestock” producers in China (gag alert!)

A “farm” in China has grossed 684,000,000 usd in revenue over the years by producing this one thing for medicinal purposes. They use AI to a high degree, and have dramatically increased productivity.

The full story is here (not for the squeamish): Outnumbering humans (almost)

AI is rapidly integrating into our daily lives, making it harder and harder to get away from being in somebody’s (or something’s) database…

Addiction Resources and Treatment Centers

While I don’t know about the following resources/treatment centers personally, they have contacted me to spread their information more widely. Overcoming addictions of any kind is a good thing, so altho I’m not sure if these are based on Biblical ideals or not, they seem worthwhile. If even only one person is potentially helped by this post, then I will give God all the glory.

Addiction Resource was founded in 2014 to provide a community for those recovering from addiction and to help patients find the highest quality care for a successful recovery. Our goal is to provide resources to help patients and their loved ones so that they may stay on the road to recovery, and can successfully overcome addiction for life. We believe in our ability to help improve the lives of others, and belief is what motivates us to educate and support our readers every day.

Addiction Resource is not a treatment center and does not accept payments or advertising offers. Instead, we work to provide free resources to help people better understand their addiction and motivate them to make the first step in seeking support.

Leftist crackdown on Conservatives in America similar to China’s crackdown on “terrorists”

I’ve thot this for quite a while now, but the news this morning is just shouting this out at us – Progressives are following China’s government in their willingness and methods to crush all opposing ideas.

China’s govt. has established a “social credit” system, where you get points taken away for certain things from skipping train fares, to avoiding taxes, to bribery, to being a Christian or anyone who does not agree 100% with their Atheistic Communist Party. Starting in May this year, they will start using this “social credit” score to determine whether to allow you to even ride on a train or airplane! China bans people from transportation

While the Left in America is not quite there yet, there are many troubling signs that they are going down the same path. That path entails not just silencing everyone who doesn’t agree with them, but forcefully restricting their ability to disseminate ideas and physical movement.

Twitter is blocking people from even quoting material from articles it deems bad: Twitter censorship As this article shows, just trying to tweet something that has no violent overtones at all is banned if from a Conservative, but super-violent tweets from Leftists that show people killing others etc. is allowed.

Then there is the case of Amazon reviews. Authors rely on the number and quality of reviews in order to get their books displayed prominently in Amazon rankings. Yet Amazon is just willy-nilly deleting reviews from Conservative authors books, and deleting some reviews those Conservative authors make: Amazon deletes reviews

Of course just the other day I had the personal experience where Youtube shut down my channel for no real reason other than that I’d violated their policy. They reinstated me the next day, but there are many examples of Conservative, or just anti-establishment channels have gotten shut down for a while, or forever, including Natural News (a health channel featuring Mike Adams), Prager U, InfoWars etc. Mike Adams says his Youtube channel was probably taken down because he believes in just two genders! I understand there are many channels that need to be shut down, as there are many bad people trying to push absolutely disgusting things on the internet. But to shut someone down just because they hold to a different view than yours? That’s totalitarianism.

What’s this got to do with God’s people as we come up to the end time?
A lot, because we see the Atheistic Communistic ideas of hatred for God is dovetailing with the Atheistic Progressive ideas of hatred for God. While they are not currently openly working together, it is easy to tell that they are working towards the same goal – the eradication of all truth, and eventually the eradication of all those who follow the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

May we be firmly grounded in the truth ourselves, and use this window of freedom wisely, because it appears to be closing up quickly.

Youtube deletes my entire channel, no real reason given (Reinstated!)

Well, knowing how Progressive Youtube is (meaning totalitarian), I was kind of expecting them to take down my videos one day for telling the truth as it is in the Bible, but this is just weird. I got an email today saying that “Google アカウント tenXXX@gmail.com は、Google ポリシーに違反する行為に使われていたと思われるため、無効となりました”.

Which says that I’ve gone against their policy, so my account (Earlysda) is unavailable anymore. Just now, in checking, I see that not only are all my 100+ videos gone with their 800K+ views, but that all my comments on all other peoples’ videos are gone too. It’s like my 11 years on Youtube has been erased in an instant.

I hope Youtube fixes this, but since Google is such an evil company, I will count myself lucky if I don’t get either a police knock on the door, or a hitman who will run me off the road.

If anyone knows another video sharing service, please let me know.

Updated morning of March 16: When I woke up this morning, wondering what to do, I did a search on the net for my most viewed video. I clicked on the link, expecting it to show that the video had been deleted, but it displayed normally!

So what happened? I don’t know, but here is my guess. The day before this happened, I made some comments on videos regarding Stephen Hawking’s death, that he was a poor scientist because there cannot, by definition, be more than one black hole in a universe. And also, he fought God,
so basically he wasted his life, but I hope he repented before he died. Probably someone got royally upset at that, reported me to Youtube for “hate speech”, and they quickly deleted my account. When a human actually checked the facts, they saw that I had don’e nothing wrong,
and reinstated my account.

But I have learned from this, that if I want to help keep my videos up, which I know will be taken down when the Sunday Law question starts becoming agitated, I need to either stop commenting on other articles on Youtube, or else comment under a different name.

huge amounts of water under earth’s crust refutes evolution

Often in talking to Evolutionists, they like to pooh-pooh the idea that there is enough water on this planet to ever cover the whole earth. I always ask them to take a globe, and think for a minute about what all that blue color means, as 71% of the earth is covered with water. Also, the mountains on the earth would fit comfortably in the deepest trenches in the oceans.

I’ve read somewhere that if you flattened out all the mountains on the land, it would just take around 100 feet (meters?) of water to cover 100% of the planet.

Anyway, we can read in inspired writings that there were jets of water that came out of the earth at the time of Noah’s Flood. They had tremendous force, and hurled huge rocks high up into the air. Personally, I think they might have even created comets and blasted pockmarks on the moon etc., but am not sure about that at all, as 95% of the craters on the moon face earth.

So it is interesting to see that scientists are finding more and more clues that there are huge amounts of water far under the crust in places and forms that they thot couldn’t exist. Here is one science news article showing that ice was found in a diamond. They estimate the diamond came from 500 miles or so down (that’s highly speculative), and it includes ice with a new atomic structure, so they have named it Ice-VII. Seems our ordinary ice is now called Ice-I – ha!
massive amounts of ice in mantle

Another article says

A reservoir of water three times the volume of all the oceans has been discovered deep beneath the Earth’s surface. The finding could help explain where Earth’s seas came from.

SDA layperson forbidden to hold Bible study in condo commons area in Florida

It’s getting stranger and stranger in America. Now condominium associations are trying to forbid residents from using the commons area for Bible studies or play religious songs on the organ. Seems that playing poker and having jazz is just fine, but not if it is religious.

Now, a SDA lay minister lady is taking them to court: Condo Bans Senior Citizen Bible Study, Christian Music
Let’s pray that she will win this case for freedom.

new study says saturated fats are ok

In the never-ending game of scientists reversing themselves (often at the behest of those with the most money), a large, new study says that saturated fats really are OK after all, and all the info over the last 40 years is basically, well, bollocks.

A study just published in the Annals of Internal Medicine made waves through the mainstream media this week. In a stunning meta-analysis of the relationship between dietary fats and heart disease that included over 600,000 people, the researchers came to the following conclusion:

“Current evidence does not clearly support cardiovascular guidelines that encourage high consumption of polyunsaturated fatty acids and low consumption of total saturated fats.”

This conclusion flies in direct contrast to the USDA dietary guidelines, which recommend polyunsaturated fats (think corn and soybean oils) as healthy, and saturated fats as unhealthy (think dairy, animal fat, and coconut oil) in terms of cardiovascular health.

This info is widely available on the web, but I copied it from this site: http://www.healthstartsinthekitchen.com/2014/03/23/big-pharma-study-usda-dietary-guidelines-fats-wrong/ What I like about this particular article, is that they show that coconut oil, while being high in saturated fat, so demonized for many years by doctors and scientists, is actually a healthy product, which should be obvious to anyone who has ever travelled to the islands in the South Pacific where coconuts make up a large part of the diet there.

The best advice is to avoid totally unhealthy things that God has warned us of, and to take in moderation even good things, and to have healthy skepticism towards any “scientist” who tells us stuff.

vending machines to dispense free food for homeless

This news:
Vending machines for homeless in U.K.
looks very good for the homeless.

Seems that they have to sign up for a card that they can then use 3 times a week to get free stuff from a vending machine. It’s not going to solve their homeless problem, but looks like it could be very useful in helping solve some of their daily life problems.

Now I wish someone would find a way to help the homeless get a free, hot bath once a week….

Progressives try to change “love” into “hate”, and “hate” into “love”

Seems the Progressives are blowing their tops again. To me, they won the redefinition war over “love” to mean “whatever perversion I feel like doing”, as the Conservatives pretty much went along with believing in “unconditional love” (whatever that is). So now their hate is turned toward changing the definition of “hate” to mean “anyone who judges our actions as wrong”. When they win this war (and they will), it will be time for God to work.

Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Psalm 119:126 It is time for thee, LORD, to work: for they have made void thy law.

Are vegetarians really more depressed?

Vegetarians Are Nearly Twice As Likely To Be Depressed As Meat-Eaters, Study Finds

This is the title of a recent article by CBS news in Philadelphia. Quoting:

The 350 committed vegetarians who participated in the study had a higher average depression score when compared to the meat-eaters, according to the study, which was published in the Journal of Affective Disorders. http://philadelphia.cbslocal.com/2017/08/09/vegetarian-depression-meat-study/

The vegetarians’ diet tended to feature lower vitamin B12 consumption, as well as greater intake of nuts that contain omega-6 fatty acids, which have been linked with an increased risk of mental health problems.

Hmmmm, while I agree that lower B12 levels might have something to do with moods, my take on this issue is that most vegetarians (in advanced countries anyway) are vegetarian by choice. In other words, they think more about what goes into their body than most non-vegetarians. Most likely, they are also more thoughtful about other things in life, which could really make one go crazy seeing all the madness swirling around the world today.

Yes, I’m vegetarian, for reasons of health, religion, and compassion. I love animals – so I don’t want to kill them for food unless I have to. We should be preparing for the heavenly kingdom where nothing will die, and God has told us thru Ellen White that the 144,000 will do away with meat eating. There are many, many studies showing that a vegetarian diet not only increases longevity, but also general health.

It is true, however, that we shouldn’t become obsessed with our food. I know several vegans who have turned their noses up at me because I eat eggs and yogurt once in a while. Even if someone eats meat, we shouldn’t look down on them, but we should be faithful in telling them they need to work towards stopping it. Now if they are eating unclean foods like shrimp or pork, then we must show them straightly from God’s words that they must stop.

Any vegetarians reading this – Do you feel depressed?

Youtube to censor religious content

Evil Google announced yesterday that they are going to take action against videos with “controversial religious content”. Their system is set up so that anyone who doesn’t like your video can flag it, and make it so that it never appears in a list of results when searched for. This is equivalent to saying, “You can use our yard, but if someone doesn’t like you, you have to go way out in the back behind the woodshed and stay where no one can see you”.

We’ll soon be applying tougher treatment to videos that aren’t illegal but have been flagged by users as potential violations of our policies on hate speech and violent extremism. If we find that these videos don’t violate our policies but contain controversial religious or supremacist content, they will be placed in a limited state. The videos will remain on YouTube behind an interstitial, won’t be recommended, won’t be monetized, and won’t have key features including comments, suggested videos, and likes. We’ll begin to roll this new treatment out to videos on desktop versions of YouTube in the coming weeks, and will bring it to mobile experiences soon thereafter.

Fellow Seventh-day Adventist Christians, the time to spread the Three Angel’s Messages is now!
Let’s get busy and work while it is day, for the night comes when no one can work.

Balaam’s donkey speaks the words of God

A new video I uploaded yesterday shows, in a funny way, how Balaam’s donkey teaches so-called theologians, how the words in the Bible are from God. With many of my fellow Seventh-day Adventists holding the belief that only the ideas in the Bible and Ellen White’s books are from God, this little donkey gives a powerful testimony that the words themselves are from God.

Let’s believe ALL the words in the Bible and SOP are from God. 🙂

NKJV
Numbers 22:28-31
Then the LORD opened the mouth of the donkey, and she said to Balaam, “What have I done to you, that you have struck me these three times?”
And Balaam said to the donkey, “Because you have abused me. I wish there were a sword in my hand, for now I would kill you!”
So the donkey said to Balaam, “Am I not your donkey on which you have ridden, ever since I became yours, to this day? Was I ever disposed to do this to you?” And he said, “No.”
Then the LORD opened Balaam’s eyes, and he saw the Angel of the LORD standing in the way with His drawn sword in His hand; and he bowed his head and fell flat on his face.
This is how the story really happened, according to the Bible, but sadly, most of my fellow Seventh-day Adventists don’t believe the words in the Bible are from God. In Review and Herald, Nov.27, 1883, Willie White, Uriah Smith, J.H. Waggoner, S.N. Haskell, and George Butler stated that they believe only the IDEAS are from God, while the WORDS are chosen by the humans who wrote the Bible. Guess they forgot about this donkey speaking, or maybe they think the story really went like this:
Then the LORD gave some ideas to the donkey, and she parsed them, picked out her own words in her own tongue, and said: “Hee Haw! Eee Yore!”
And Balaam said to the donkey, “I know those words aren’t from God, so give me some time to consult with my church leaders and let the Donkeyese scholars interpret them for me and I’ll get back with you on it.”
COME ON! All fellow SDAs, let’s believe Jesus when he says: “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God”.
——————- end of video

In the same Nov. 27, 1883 Review and Herald, there is an article about the Bible from: “A lecture by H. L. Hastings, before the Massachusetts annual convention of Y. M. C. A. Associations, at Spencer, October 13, 1881”. He wrote “The Great Controversy Between God and Man” in 1858. He was not SDA.
In it, it says:
“But when the Almighty writes a man’s life, he tells the truth about him’; and there are not many who would want their lives printed if the Almighty wrote them.”
“we have proof that one omniscient Mind dictated that book”,
“faithful words of the living God”,
——————-

All fellow SDAs, and anyone who formerly believed that the words in the Bible were not from God – let’s repent and resolve to follow ALL of God’s words.

Chinese government installs cctv cameras in churches

In the city of Wenzhou, in China, the Communist govt. is forcing Christian churches there to install surveillance cameras. The move is ostensibly an effort to combat “terrorism”, but as the church leaders point out, there have never been any terrorist incidents in their churches. Obviously, this is a new method for the Communist govt. to put the screws to Christians there.

China Aid said churches were told to install cameras at gates, rostrums, offering boxes and other places, despite strong opposition from churchgoers who claimed the surveillance infringed their privacy.

Wenzhou’s surveillance camera drive comes amid tighter controls on religious activities across the country.

Last week, the far western region of Xinjiang – home to more than 10 million mostly Muslim Uygurs – passed new rules targeting what it called religious extremism. The rules, which took effect on Saturday, prohibit such “manifestations of extremism” as wearing veils or “abnormal” beards, refusing to watch state television or listen to state radio, or preventing children from receiving “national education”, according to the official news website News.ts.cn.

Wow!
Now they are FORCING people to watch state television!

Chinese Christians – we are praying for you to stay strong in Jesus.
Christians in free countries – Be careful what you put before your eyes!
Persecution has already started somewhat, but will get worse and worse as the dragon speaks louder and louder, trying to force all to break God’s commands – especially the 7th day Sabbath (from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday).
