Just finished watching this again. I would have to rate it the best movie i’ve seen ever. It follows the wording of the Bible exactly, but it is a new translation which some may need some adjusting to. As it is nearly 3 hours in length, i suggest you block out some time and watch the whole thing from beginning to end.
It really brings a lot into focus about how much Jesus went back and forth with the religious leaders, how Jesus did many miracles, how Jesus was very Jewish, and how he knew everything in advance. The human portrayal of him makes him seem very, very close.

It is amazing that any country’s president would publicly repent for personal and national sins, but that is exactly what happened in Uganda recently. The occasion was the 50th anniversary celebrations of their independence.
The whole prayer of repentance is here: http://allafrica.com/stories/201210181330.html
At the National Jubilee Prayers in Namboole, President Yoweri Museveni made history when he openly repented his sins and the sins of Uganda, a move that has excited many religious leaders. Moses Mulondo brings you the prayer verbatim
Father God in heaven, today we stand here as Ugandans, to thank you for Uganda. We are proud that we are Ugandans and Africans. We thank you for all your goodness to us.
I stand here today to close the evil past and especially in the last 50 years of our national leadership history and at the threshold of a new dispensation in the life of this nation. I stand here on my own behalf and on behalf of my predecessors to repent. We ask for your forgiveness.
We confess these sins, which have greatly hampered our national cohesion and delayed our political, social and economic transformation.
We confess sins of idolatry and witchcraft which are rampant in our land. We confess sins of shedding innocent blood, sins of political hypocrisy, dishonesty, intrigue and betrayal.
Forgive us of sins of pride, tribalism and sectarianism; sins of laziness, indifference and irresponsibility; sins of corruption and bribery that have eroded our national resources; sins of sexual immorality, drunkenness and debauchery; sins of unforgiveness, bitterness, hatred and revenge; sins of injustice, oppression and exploitation; sins of rebellion, insubordination, strife and conflict.
These sins and many others have characterised our past leadership, especially the last 50 years of our history. Lord forgive us and give us a new beginning. Give us a heart to love you, to fear you and to seek you. Take away from us all the above sins.
We pray for national unity. Unite us as Ugandans and eliminate all forms of conflict, sectarianism and tribalism. Help us to see that we are all your children, children of the same Father. Help us to love and respect one another and to appreciate unity in diversity.
We pray for prosperity and transformation. Deliver us from ignorance, poverty and disease. As leaders, give us wisdom to help lead our people into political, social and economic transformation.
We want to dedicate this nation to you so that you will be our God and guide. We want Uganda to be known as a nation that fears God and as a nation whose foundations are firmly rooted in righteousness and justice to fulfil what the Bible says in Psalm 33:12: Blessed is the nation, whose God is the Lord. A people you have chosen as your own.
I renounce all the evil foundations and covenants that were laid in idolatry and witchcraft. I renounce all the satanic influence on this nation. And I hereby covenant Uganda to you, to walk in your ways and experience all your blessings forever.
I pray for all these in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Wow! Would that leaders of “Christian” nations would do such a heavenly-inspired thing. God bless Uganda!
This is quite funny in a sad sort of way.
I was interviewed at the 2010 Seventh-day Adventist General Conference Session in Atlanta, Georgia by MissionTV which is affiliated with Gospel Ministries International and Jesus for Asia. The interview was around 7 or 8 minutes i guess, and focused on my work in spreading the 1858 edition of the Great Controversy around the world in the various languages.
There were interviews with close to 30 other missionary/evangelist types at that time. While volunteering at GMI in 2010, i was involved with editing these interviews, altho i was not directly involved with editing my own. I did see the finished result of my edited interview, and it looked very good, and was up on the web for awhile.
Well, in looking recently at the list of interviews available to watch, it is funny to see that they all go in numerical sequence, with an omission of number 22. http://missiontv.com/tv/category/mission-tv-special-59th-gc/
Hmmmm, wonder who that might be? Might it have anything to do with the fact that i pointed out some of the sins of the leaders of Jesus for Asia and Gospel Ministries International and was booted off their campus for such indiscretions?
I pray those leaders will repent and turn to Jesus and follow his words: “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.”
Recently i came across some youtube videos done by the “Passion for Christ Movement” (p4cm). They are in the style of kind of rapping poetry, so while the method may not be palatable to some, the message is strong. Very strong! I’ve watched several of them, and nearly all of them have me nodding multiple times and tears coming down my face etc. Just one of them brings more heart conviction of sin that i have gotten in years in Seventh-day Adventist churches.

Each one is only around 6 or 7 minutes long, and i highly, highly recommend them. Some other videos on their channel, while being very good too at laying the axe at the root of the tree, are best not watched around children.
God WILL raise up those who are not afraid to call sin by its right name.
America is facing a presidential election again. While God’s children are not to get involved in political parties, we are to be involved with using our God-given right to vote for the person who will uphold the morals as given by God in the best manner.
The idea of taking from the rich by force to give to the poor is not biblical. This is what all recent president’s have been for (as obviously it helps provide votes), but President Obama has carried this to extremes, with a record 46,000,000 Americans on food stamps today! Not only is it wrong to take from the rich to give to the poor, but in fact, America is more and more borrowing from other countries to satisy our own greed to have the good life now, and pass the future cost to the next generation. It is clearly unsustainable, with over 1,000,000,000,000usd of new debt added each year under the current president. We need someone who will at least attempt to staunch the tide of red ink before America has to go around begging our creditors to have patience with us as we cannot pay them back.
There are several other points of difference between the 2 main candidates, but the most important issue for me is what each candidate will do to support the lives of the most helpless – what will they do on the subject of abortion. In this issue, there is a huge difference. President Obama said before he became president that the first law he would pass would be a bill allowing more late-term abortions. He did pass that bill, and has consistently shown to be heartless when it comes to saving any unborn baby. Candidate Romney has had a journey in his life, it seems, on this issue. At first glance, it looks like he is a flip-flopper, because when he was governor of Massachusetts he was definitely for killing the unborn, while now is strongly for protecting them. In reading about his life tho, he was for abortion because a relative died from a botched abortion, but recently he has seen how terrible it is to kill a helpless baby inside its own mother, and has “converted” to protecting the unborn. A short comparison of the 2 main candidate’s views on abortion can be seen here: http://www.nrlc.org/Records/potuscomparison.pdf
The difference is stark. One candidate is for destroying little babies, while the other is for protecting them. God’s word is very clear on what he thinks about human life whether inside the mother’s womb or out of it: Ps 22:10 I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou [art] my God from my mother’s belly.
So while it is extremely disappointing to see the acknowledged “main” Christian nation on earth having a choice for a leader who is Mormon or basically Muslim, there is still a clear choice to make in deciding who will be closer to following God’s moral commands.
May we pray and make the right decision, and ask God to heal our country.
Tomomi gives a short (4min) testimony of how she came to Christ. This is one of the most powerful Japanese testimonies i’ve ever heard, and a very interesting result to a horrendous crime. Surely God will turn Satan’s apparent victories against him 🙂

Since i started studying carefully last year to determine for myself whether October 22, 1844 is the correct day for Jesus to go into the Most Holy Place that year, i have been brought back time and time again to the obvious, completely overlooked fact – that at least one of God’s festivals has very important meaning for us, and marks a specific day in God’s salvation plan many years after the cross.
This has led me into deeper study of God’s festivals in general. I thot it would be easy to show that they are all “sabbath”s, but according the best information i can currently find in the inspired words, the only “sabbath” other than of course the 7th day sabbath, is the Day of Atonement – the 10th day of the 7th month. The exact same Hebrew is used to describe both – “shabbath” “sabbathown”.
So why do we Seventh-day Adventists continue to throw one of these sabbaths away at the cross, while clinging diligently to the other? Have we forgotten our October 22, 1844 roots?
Last week i put a video i made calling fellow SDAs to consider the claims of the sabbath of the 10th day of the seventh month up on youtube:
http://youtu.be/CdI55U7HY4k
The format is a response to a fellow SDA believer who made a video supporting the 7th day sabbath here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rko7po18clw&feature=related
I’m still studying this all out, and earnestly desire your advice, questions, and comments.
May Jesus receive all the glory!
Many of my fellow Seventh-day Adventists use these 3 reasons to throw out the holy convocations of the Lord:
1. Keeping the Jewish customs and ceremonies is a denial of Christ.
2. If you go back to observe obsolete ceremonies, you have to do all things of the law.
3. The annual Jewish Feasts were specifically designed by the Lord to be kept in the land of Israel (only Israel).
All 3 of these are easily shown to be false, or based on false assumptions.
The number one false assumption, the one that kept me from embracing the feasts for so long, is the assumption that the feasts are part of the “ceremonial law”. This is not true. Please re-read Leviticus 23. Notice clearly how the 4th commandment is linked very closely to the feasts (while not actually being a feast itself). Notice too that all the feasts are called by God to be “holy convocations… My feasts”.
#1 This statement is true. However, there is no inspired quote showing that the feasts are part of the “Jewish customs and ceremonies”. God calls the feasts his, and explicitly says that they are statutes, and the statutes are to last forever.
#2 The feasts are not ceremonies.
#3 Jesus specifically told the woman at the well in John 4:21 “Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.” Paul kept the Passover years after the cross at Philippi “At Philippi Paul tarried to keep the passover.” (LP p.196)
The confusion also results from the fact that SOMETHING was abolished at the cross. Most SDAs pick and choose what they think was abolished, saying the 10 commandments and the statutes regarding unclean food, tithe, sexual relations etc. are still in force after the cross, but saying that wearing blue threads, sacrificing, and keeping the holy convocations are all abolished.
The fact is, Daniel 9:27 shows clearly what was to be abolished – the sacrifices and oblations.
Jesus kept the feasts “I will keep the passover” (Matt. 26:18). How can it be a denial of him to do as he did?!
Let’s study to show ourselves approved unto God.
Youcef Nadarkhani, the Iranian pastor who captured the hearts of millions as he stood firm in his faith while facing execution, has been acquitted of apostasy.
Praise the Lord for keeping this pastor firm during the trial of his faith. His refusal to recant is a powerful witness to all of us who will soon be faced with similar circumstances in supposedly “Christian” countries as we enter the Time of Trouble.
Watch a short clip of DeVon Franklin, the senior VP of production at Columbia Pictures, sharing his faith with Oprah Winfrey on her TV show, Super Soul Sunday. He explains clearly the 7th day Sabbath, and his experiences in keeping it in Hollywood.

“If your faith won’t fit in the door that opens, then i argue “Do not walk thru that door”. The door that God opens for you will fit your faith.”
May all of God’s people have such strong faith as we near the Time of Trouble.
Last month the SDA General Conference finally succeeded in imprisoning Pastor McGill. Now associate pastor Lucan Chartier has also been arrested.
Here are the news stories:

For those who don’t know what’s going on, the Seventh-day Adventist General Conference incorporated, and trademarked it’s name, in 1981, and has now been suing those who use the name “Seventh-day Adventist” (or even the word “Adventist”) without the approval of the General Conference. They claim they are suing people in order to protect the “good name” of the church.
The General Conference is using the civil government to accomplish it’s ends. This has led to persecution, confiscation of property, fines, and imprisonment, for those who felt they could not conscientiously give up the name “Seventh-day Adventist” because they believe from the Spirit of Prophecy it was a divinely ordained name (see 1T, 223).
The SDA church that claims to be fighting for freedom of religion is now using the power of the State to persecute those who desire to worship God according to their religious convictions.
The General Conference is doing the very thing that the Bible and Spirit of Prophecy told them not to do.

Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints? (1Cor 6:1)

Put up new video on YouTube today: http://youtu.be/4tLlMZ9f5ws
This video is to call on my fellow Seventh-day Adventists to follow the Bible and Spirit of Prophecy regarding the roles of men and women.
The immediate issue at hand is whether or not women should be ordained as pastors in the SDA church. As the details can be readily found on the web, i’ll just say that those supporting this, like most others that directly go against God’s word, are from the “rich” countries.
Now our General Conference leaders know what the Bible says about this, but to be politically correct they have avoided taking a stand on this issue so long that it has festered into an open sore where one Union, and probably more soon, are openly rebelling against their authority.
But what does God’s word say about this? Genesis 3:16 To the woman He said: “I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception; In pain you shall bring forth children; Your desire [shall be] for your husband, And he shall rule over you.”
So one of the first things God establishes after sin enters the world is the relationship between men and women. 17 Then to Adam He said, “Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, ‘You shall not eat of it’: “Cursed [is] the ground for your sake; In toil you shall eat [of] it all the days of your life.
But those who reject God’s words want men and women to be equal. Well, if they can roll back God’s words about men having rule over women, then may they also try their best to remove the curse from the ground so we don’t have to sweat for our food anymore, and not return to dust either.

Today i uploaded a new video on YouTube asking my fellow Seventh-day Adventists who are into conspiracy theories to stop, repent, and get out of that business altogether.
http://youtu.be/IdPzLgPyqW8
This is the script for the video:
Seventh-day Adventists and conspiracy theories
On the day the President of the United States takes the oath of office facing the pagan phallic symbol in Washington, “they” will start spraying chemtrails from it to fluoridate the water so the black helicopters can be directed to the hidden concentration camps on the “moon” set where the black pope will appear as an alien lizard shape-shifter, declare martial law, and prepare the way for the Bilderbergers to take all our money and then manipulate HAARP to erase all these dastardly things from our collective memory. BWAHAHA! I’ve got it all figured out, and you sheeple who believe whatever the mass media tells you are doomed, doomed!!! And by the way, send me a check or credit card number so i can get this vital information out to as many of God’s remnant people as possible!
—
This video is to call fellow Seventh-day Adventists who believe in conspiracy theories to repent and turn back to spreading the Three Angels’ Messages.
—-
One common thread running thru all conspiracy theories is the idea that a hidden, super-powerful force that we can do nothing about is working to destroy us all. In that respect it is in accord with the SDA worldview of a Great Controversy Between Christ and His Angels and Satan and His Angels, the title of a book God had his messenger Ellen White write in 1858. Yes! there IS a big battle going on mostly unseen. This is what we Adventists should be focusing on – how to press forward the battle by spreading the truth as it is in Jesus. By focusing on these other things we are in fact helping the dark side in its battle with Christ.
