I’ve written several lines of Christian rap code now, but it took a good SDA Sister to awaken me to the possibility that I could write a whole song. Moving these words thru my brain while riding the bicycle etc. gives me encouragement to stand peculiar for another day, even when it seems nobody around you cares. Jesus does😂
\nIf anyone can put this to music that would be a blessing.

\nPeculiar people on the narrow,
\ngettin’ rid of ways of pharoah,
\nscorned & laughed by friend and foe,
\nkeepin’ eyes on the goal. <\/p>\n

World likes them man-made doctrines,
\nSunday, immortal soul, all go to heaven,
\ndo away with God’s law,
\nhis love’s unconditional anyhow<\/p>\n

can’t keep,
\npath too steep,
\nI’ve done enough,
\nall you need is love. <\/p>\n

Look at that little group,
\ncain’t even tell they all duped,
\ntry’na make it to heaven by works,
\nlet’s hit em where it really hurts,
\nin the pocketbook,
\nsock em to it,
\nkeep Sunday or you lose,
\nthe right to use,
\nyour MONEY. <\/p>\n

Peculiar people on the narrow,
\ngettin’ rid of ways of pharoah,
\nscorned & laughed by friend and foe,
\nkeepin’ eyes on the goal. <\/p>\n

simple and healthy – no meat coffee or tea,
\njust following the God-man from Galilee,
\nwho didn’t work his way to heaven,
\njust followed the law even keepin’ out leaven. <\/p>\n

always keep,
\nhis commands are deep,
\nlookin’ to do more,
\na heaven’s in store. <\/p>\n

savin’ funds and sendin’ ’em to missions,
\nout we go for souls we fishin’,
\nbringin’ the poor inside our home,
\nmassagin’ rich folks’ hearts of stone.
\nadmittin’ freely our need,
\nof a Savior to bleed,
\nwash from sin’s smear,
\nbetter than money, conscience is clear. <\/p>\n

Peculiar people on the narrow,
\ngettin’ rid of ways of pharoah,
\nscorned & laughed by friend and foe,
\nkeepin’ eyes on the goal. <\/p>\n

Avoiding movies no alcohol here,
\npride is the biggest sin we fear,
\ndon’t need no rolex wrapping our bones,
\nhappy no longer keepin’ up with the Jones. <\/p>\n

Keepin’ up with Jesus,
\nhis love frees us,
\nfrom our guilt,
\nby what he spilt. <\/p>\n

Prayin’ for our enemies,
\nblessin’ those who persecute,
\nshootin’ them a love arrow,
\nso they’ll repent and join these…. <\/p>\n
